What this site is

A directory of paid mobile apps. For each one we list its features, mark which are core, judge which of those an AI can rebuild today, record what the app costs, and publish a prompt that produces a replacement.

That is information and opinion. The feature counts are our reading of the evidence we cite; the "AI can rebuild this" calls are judgements, and a reasonable person could make some of them differently. Nothing here is legal, financial, medical or professional advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to cancel any subscription. Deciding whether a paid app is worth your money is your call, and every app page carries a list of what you give up so you can make it.

Your data is yours, and only yours

Read this one properly. If you build something from a prompt on this site, whatever you put into it lives on your device — in your browser's storage, or wherever the tool you used decides to keep it. It does not live with us. We have no copy of it, no backup of it and no way to look it up.

Which means: clear your browser data, switch devices, use a private window, get a new phone, or let a tool you used shut down, and it is gone. We cannot recover it. Nobody can. If what you are logging is worth keeping — a year of workouts, a set of scans, a plant you have kept alive — export it somewhere yourself, early, and keep doing it. That is the real cost of not paying for someone else's servers, and it is on you.

The demos on this site are the same story in miniature. They run entirely in your browser and keep nothing at all: close the tab and the demo is empty again. They exist so you can feel what a replacement is like before you commit to building one, not to hold anything.

Prompts and demos, as-is

The prompts and demos are provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. AI models change without notice, and the same prompt can produce a good result one month and a worse one the next. We do not promise a prompt will run, that what it produces will work, that it will be correct, secure, or fit for anything in particular, or that it will match the demo we recorded.

You are responsible for what you build and for what you do with it. If it counts your calories wrong, misreads a document, misidentifies a plant or loses your notes, that is a thing you built. Check anything that matters. To the maximum extent the law allows, Valtrium LLC disclaims all implied warranties, is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or for any loss of data, profit or goodwill, and its total liability on any claim is limited to USD $100. Some places do not allow limits like these, in which case they apply as far as they are allowed.

Using an AI tool to run a prompt also means agreeing to that tool's own terms. Claude, ChatGPT and the rest are not ours, and what they do with what you send them is governed by them, not by us.

Prices and assessments go stale

Every price here carries the source we read it from and the date we read it. That makes it a fact about a moment, not a standing quote. Prices change, plans get renamed, regional pricing differs from ours, and trials come and go. The app's own paywall is the record. If a number here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

The same goes for the feature assessments. Apps ship features, remove them and move them behind higher tiers, and the state of what AI can rebuild moves faster than either. Treat everything here as accurate on the date it was checked.

Other people's names

The app names, logos, icons and trademarks on this site belong to their owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. They are used descriptively — to identify the product being discussed and compared, which is what comparison requires. If you own one and object to how it is used, email contact@freethe.app and a person will look at it.

Our own writing, the assessments, the prompts and the design of this site belong to Valtrium LLC. The prompts are meant to be copied and used — that is the entire point of them, and you owe us nothing for doing it. Republishing the site's research wholesale as your own is a different thing, and not allowed.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape or mass-export the site, or hammer it with automated requests.
• Do not probe it for vulnerabilities without telling us first. Report one and we will thank you.
• Do not use an account that is not yours, or sign in on someone else's behalf.
• Do not use anything here to build something illegal, to impersonate one of the apps we list, or to pass off a rebuild as the real product.

Accounts exist to save bookmarks and nothing more. We can suspend or remove one that breaks these rules, and you can leave whenever you like — see/privacy for how deletion works.

The rest

We may change these terms. The date at the top moves when we do, and material changes get said out loud on the site rather than slipped in. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts sitting in Delaware. The clauses that should outlive your use of the site — the disclaimers, the liability limit, the intellectual property terms and this paragraph — do.
